Autopsy To Be Performed On 3YO Child
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The Lancaster County Coroner's office is expected to issue a ruling soon on the cause of death for a child who was found unresponsive in a swimming pool. East Hempfield Township Police say first responders were dispatched to a home on Wheatland Avenue Saturday to find the three-year-old boy unconscious. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Police say his family didn't know that the child had walked away from his nearby home to enter the property where the pool was.
