>>PA Department Of Health Makes Highest Single Day COVID-19 Case Announcement
(Harrisburg, PA) -- The PA Department of Health is adding 2,875 COVID-19 cases to its statewide total. The announcement brings the commonwealth to 214,871 confirmed or probable cases since the start of the pandemic. It was the highest single day increase in cases thus far.
>>Wolf, Boockvar Say No Widespread Significant Problems During Election
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar say there were no widespread significant problems amid high turnout at the polls and more than two-and-a-half million mail ballots cast. Wolf said he’s proud of how Pennsylvanians conducted themselves. Voter registration exceeded nine million by the deadline to register.

(Silver Spring Twp., PA) -- Police in Silver Spring Township are asking for help finding a missing 28-year-old woman. Shannon Kress was last seen on October 29th and was reportedly heading for Harrisburg that day. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police.

(Derry Twp., PA) -- Work crews in Derry Township say they had to close a portion of Sandhill Road for sinkholes. Two were discovered south of Cherry Drive earlier this week. The road is expected to remain closed through this afternoon.
>>Teen Hurt In Harrisburg Shooting
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A teen is hurt after a shooting in Harrisburg. It happened around midday Tuesday near Curtin Street and Brensinger Alley. The teen was taken to the hospital but isn’t cooperating with the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact city police.
>>Thousands Of Lancaster County Mail-In, Absentee Being Counted
(Lancaster, PA) -- Thousands of mail-in and absentee ballots in Lancaster County are being tallied. Over 150 volunteers and staff members began processing the ballots yesterday morning at the Lancaster County Convention Center. Lancaster County Commissioner Josh Parsons says ballots postmarked by 8 p.m. yesterday will be counted if they are received by Friday at 5 p.m.

(Dallas, PA) -- Republican Dan Meuser is headed back to Congress after winning the Ninth Congressional District race. The U.S. House incumbent defeated Democratic opponent Berks County dentist Dr Gary Wegman. Meuser will be entering his second term.
>>Reading Mayor Closing City Hall Over COVID-19 Increase
(Reading, PA) -- Reading City Hall is closed to all but first responders for the rest of the week. Mayor Eddie Moran announced the decision to close City Hall yesterday because of three positive COVID-19 cases among building employees. Moran says the affected employees were sent home to quarantine and contact tracing measures are in place.
>>Berks Man Allegedly Rams Wife's Car
(Lower Macungie Township, PA) -- A Berks County man is facing charges after he allegedly rammed his wife's car. Emanuel Serrano-Serrano is charged with aggravated and simple assault after his wife says he rammed her car September 16th near Hamilton Boulevard and Krocks Court. A witness told police she saw the driver of a BMW throw a liquid at the victim's vehicle before colliding with the passenger side.
>>Police ID Reading Teen Homicide Victim
(Reading, PA) -- Police are identifying the teen homicide victim found shot to death in Reading. Authorities say 19-year-old Jareil Sudler was found dead Monday morning in the 300 block of Washington Street near the Chiarelli Plaza parking garage. Suspect information is not available.
>>No Violence On Election Day
(Lehigh, PA) -- State officials are confirming there was no violence on Election Day. There have been concerns from voters of unrest arising at polling places and cities, but Governor Tom Wolf's Administration says the election went remarkably smoothly. Although there were few reports of voter intimidation, but the situations were handled at the county level.
>>Republican Lawmakers Calling For Secretary Of State's Resignation
(Williamsport, PA) -- Two Republican lawmakers are calling on Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar to resign over a dispute regarding mail-in ballots. State senators Jake Corman and Joe Scarnati say Boockvar allegedly gave conflicting information to counties in regards to counting mail-in ballots. They added she told election officials to set aside mail-in ballots received after 8 p.m. on election night and before 4 p.m. on Friday November 6th, but then told them to start counting all ballots as soon as possible. Boockvar says she has no intent on resigning and that they should resign for not allowing Pennsylvania to start pre-canvassing ballots early as 46 other states have done.
>>Lancaster County Setting Aside Ballots
(Lancaster, PA) -- Lancaster County is setting aside mail-in ballots that have been postmarked by November 3rd until the U.S. Supreme Court makes a decision about the ballot extension. County officials say they were advised by the Secretary of State to set those ballots aside and wait to count them, but on Sunday they were urged to count them as soon as possible. The Supreme court had already stood by the State Supreme Court's decision to extend the mail-in ballot deadline and some officials believe it's unfair to voters to set aside the ballots.
