(Pittsburgh, PA) -- With cities around the nation concerned about possible violence in the days leading up to next week's presidential inauguration, local FBI agents released a statement yesterday saying that there are no credible threats in Pittsburgh. The release from FBI Pittsburgh states they are not aware of any threats in our region which includes Western Pennsylvania and the state of West Virginia. The FBI takes all threats seriously and fully investigates each one. Concerns of violence have escalated in the last week following the recent insurrection on Capitol Hill.
